What budget tablets receive security updates?

Hi

Bought a Alldocube Kpad for my mum who scrolls the net and plays games and it's quite nice but of course no security updates.

I would like to get a tablet but as it will be used with logins, buying online etc I'd prefer something more reputable with updates.

I don't require widevine or gaming. Use case will probably be reading documents/books, surfing net, YouTube, some streaming.
Preferably 10" and a cheap as possible! Might consider used.

    How many years of updates do you expect to get?

    Samsung tablets will give you the longest number of updates (for Android). From memory the latest A-series tabs will get 3 years of major OS updates, and 4 years security patch update

    Nokia T20, 2 years OS updates + 3 years security patch update

    Lenovo tab M10 Plus gets 1 major OS upgrade + 3 years security patch update.
