Fantastic little light to put on a keyring. Definitely worth the cost of delivery. Surprisingly I've been able to see 10-15 meters ahead of me using this light, and it's only the size of my pinky.

    • +29

But how would it compare size wise to, say, one of your fingers?

    • +2

Definitely worth the cost of delivery

On the linked product page it suggests the product is worthless "Worth: $0" 🤣

  • +2

Wish it was rechargeable usb model

    • They use to give out (just pay delivery) the Olight i1R 2 EOS, which is a rechargeable keyring torch.

In US they gave out the iMorse (i1R2 Pro) for existing customer.

      • I was hoping for the iMorse, but I don't really need another AA torch. I probably won't order anything this time.

        • Same here. Waiting for the Olight i1R 2 Pro/iMorse.

These make great little gifts for people who are terrible with tech. For some like my parents anything beyond replacing a battery can be too much.

  • +11

For those wondering its 90 lumens and runs on a single AAA.

Was I the only one that read "antique bronze fleshlight"..?

    • +20

Bet you were even more excited when you learnt of its size.

      • +4

        Fit his AAA size ;p

I've got a few i3t eos for inspection lights at work. quite powerful, nice diffuse beam, and small enough to barely be noticeable

Added a Gober safety light for my dog's collar as well for $13. "free" shipping, so why not. $21 total for both https://www.olightstore.com.au/olight-gober-safe-light-with-…

There's a free lucky prize wheel at the bottom of the flash sales screen too https://www.olightstore.com.au/flash-sale.html

    • +3

Looks like everyone gets $15 from the wheel, if the ‘results’ shown below the wheel are true.

So basically a $15 voucher when you register and click the wheel

      • +3

I didn't get anything, I'm guessing it only shows wins and $15 is the lowest prize

        • +1

          Well that sucks

        • +3

I signed up about 7 times with different email addresses I have, every time I got a "congratulations! Thank You!" nothing else except 1 free spin which also provided me with $0

      • +15

PS: The $15 voucher has a minimum $159 spend.

Darn olight. And darn your post. Bought two of the upgraded gober kits with airtag holders as kid trackers at nighttime events like fireworks

The marketing worked.. I just spent $62 after cashback due to a 'free' light :/

  • +2

Not sure if I should buy .mmm

    • +2

      Buy now, think later.

        this is the ozbargain way

  • Anyone know of a good pen style light for medical examinations? Like when a doctor looks into the mouth at the tonsils etc? Don't need any fancy modes, just on and off.

  • Thanks for this. I did the lucky prize wheel spin and got a free Olight i1R2 in Desert Tan as well.

    • How do you do the wheel spin? I can't seem to find it on the site.

      • +1

Go to the flash sale page (can click on link at the top of the site).
On the page you scroll to the bottom and wheel spin is there.

    • +4

Cool, I won a Thank You.

      • hey, those things are rare!

  • Got a free gober during the spin to win flash sale sale too so 7.95 P&P got me the i3e and the gober delivered!

  • +1

Tip. Add in the free pen refills along with it. They come with caps and are great to put in your wallet. They are big enough to use without the pen itself. Although I also have the pen and it’s great EDC pen.

  • can't find any UV light?

  • From some trial and error, I think that using a previously registered email/account gives you a decent prize, while using a new email address gives you a lesser one (or a thank you).

    • Not necessarily true. I’ve got an old account and 3 previous orders. Spin only gave me a thank you :(

      • You can spin once a day for every day of the event. I usually spin every day and wait until the last day to put in my orders. If you win something you still have to pay for postage. I guess you can maybe miss out on the "free" torch but I have so many of these from all the previous sales I don't mind if I miss out.

      • Ah sorry, it must have just been a coincidence for me then.

  • be aware that many olights use proprietary batteries - the terminals are at one end. This also necessitates a proprietary charging system - don't lose it. The aaa and aa are generic; I'm not sure that anything else is.

  • This MAY be still live?? MORE INFO first application seemed to error (confirmed today) money was taken and order issued (still on paypal as taken). When I looked today I was treated as a new customer (resupplied email addy) and this time I received password post as I should have on first application and became eligible for torch, again paid $7.50 - no wheel page tho. Will chase up first order if nothing received- can't look at initial invoice on "new" account it seems (horrible site IMO so sloooow, tho may be my browser)

  • Can I ask any regulars of Olight, whats with the ridiculous dispatch times? They continue to run sales and promotions, yet in stock items I have paid for havent even been picked/packed over a week ago? Doesnt seems like a good business model.

    • they're always slow when they run sales.

  • How this compared to torch out of your phone? Genuine question, thanks

    • +1

This torch has max 90 lumen brightness. I doubt any phone light can get near that level of brightness.

  • Received mine today, thanks. Something for next winter.
