I'm thinking about buying some quite a lot of stuff from the Target toy sale on Thursday and I was wondering if anyone knew how to get discounted Coles gift cards before then.
I would appreciate any ideas you guys have!

If it is just for Target I have a $500 Target Gift card valid until January 2014, I would sell to you for $450 via Bank Deposit including Registered Post, or $460 if you want to pay via PayPal. I also have a $250 Target Gift Card valid until Dec 2013, I would sell for $230 via Bank, or $235 via PayPal including Registered Post. If you pay via PayPal I will post via Registered Post on Monday 18th June.

Big hassle going through Paypal's claim (which I've had to go through a few times) and you can get away with it (if you're dodgy enough), espcially if the transaction is not so big.
Anyways, not here for arguing, just trying to help OP. If he still wants to make the purchase, so be it.
Also Paypal's protection policy does not cover cash/gift cards if you have time to read the fine print.

Are you sure you can use Coles gift card in Target?? Anyone with entertainment book can get 5% off Coles gift card, but the delivery time is unreliable.
I dont think you can use Coles gift cards at Target or any store other than Coles, as its store specific from what I remember in their website. What OP wants is either a Target gift card, or a Coles Myer gift card. I hope Im wrong though!
I thought there was no such thing as just a 'coles' gift card - it was always coles and myer group.
No… they also have specific brand gift cards, e.g. target, coles, kmart where you can only use them at the shop specified. The coles & myer cards you can use at all the shops listed on the card. Hope that makes sense.
Yeah I have seen the specific brands like Target, but Coles I have never seen by itself - I have only seen it grouped with all the other brands. Hmm maybe I'll have a look when I go to coles next.
Sale runs to 11th July, so you've got a bunch of time, unless you think what you want will sell out. Layby may be another option to secure what you want.. but not sure of cost of that nowadays.
You can now use Westfield gift cards at Target, so if you stocked up on westfield giftcards during the groupon deal (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/71734), then hopefully they'll come in time.
