  I truly feel like if you're going to speculate at this price, better off getting a dozen of something else. Whisky is hot as hell but as many have commented here even lagavulin is mooning. Worst case at least you'd have a dozen bottles of somrhting!

    Just checked my CR / Dan Murphy's order back in Aug 2018, they were going for $92 a bottle. They're 52% higher now, so not too bad an 'investment' if that was ever the case for people.

  Used to drink Yama12 all the time when it was <$100. Never tried the Yama18… thought it was pricy at $250.00

  I'm not going to tell you what I used to pay for Yamazaki in Tokyo some years ago.You can buy this and many others at any self-respecting corner store when you do your grocery shopping….then there's the discounted Sushi later on each day.Lord take me now.
