    GTA6 coming boys.

    • +5

      sigh, I'm going to have to get a PS5, aren't I?

      • +42

        PS6 coming boys.

      • Or ps6 or ps7 when is remastered

      • +1

There's a chance it's releasing on PC as well - in the leaks there were various graphics cards being used as well as consoles.

        • Very likely. All the main GTA games have come out on PC

          • @Pinchy: I'm talking about on launch.

    • +3

      HODL

    • +2

Didn't care to share this info with the girls too?

    • +2

I mean that's at least 3 more years away right?

    • -2

      AHEM.. And girls.
and.. oh no.. I can't find the list. others

  • +2

Same price for XSX copy too :)

  • +1

Is this any better than the PS4 version?

    • +5

Higher FPS and 4k/HDR support i assume

    • +2

Yes, considerably. The upgrades are listed above. HDR, higher resolution textures, raytracing, higher framerates, sharper graphics and improved contrast colours, fast loading, adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, 3D audio etc…

    • So i owned the PS4 disc version and then when I upgraded to the PS5 version i no longer needed to use the PS4 disc.

      • +4

That's because there isn't any upgrade path for GTA V from PS4 -> PS5; the PS5 version is a separate purchase (but did have a launch price of $15).

    • Nothing noticeable really, you should know about greedy companies by now.

    • Not really. It’s still GTA5. A 9 year old game.

      • +1

Have you actually played it? The PS5 and Series X versions are beautifully presented. The HDR combined with nice sharp visuals and an overall high graphical fidelity make for an extremely impressive image on screen. The ability to run the game at 60fps also drastically improves the clarity and beauty of the game for anyone coming from previous console releases. The only part that would give away that it is a 9 year old game is some lower resolution textures found here and there and certain ped models being lower poly than you would expect of a AAA title today.

    • imo yes, 60fps makes it feel like a new game

  • +21

Yay, now I can own it in 9 different versions!

    • -7

      Lol sheep.
Edit: and the visuals weren’t much stunning when it was free on ps5

  • It was $15 on PS5 with my Turkey account but that loophole is now closed :(

    • +2

      Coles still have turkey…

    • +7

It was $15 on AU accounts too for a few months after it came out

      • Really? A digital version?

        • I can't remember the deal, but yeah - I got it myself, but I also had the digital PS4 version.. which may have been a prerequisite?

Apparently not a prerequisite, just an early deal for the first 3 months.

I've been buying GTA5 for basically my entire adult life

  • +8

How much longer is rockstar going to keep milking this game. Absolutely ridiculous. It was released in 2013.

    • +9

      Skyrim has entered the chat

    • +1

The same way Bethesda milks The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. A Late 2011 released game. I though by now most people would have owned and played this. Yet GTA V is still a best seller for Rockstar. I remember completing story mode twice. Once on the Xbox 360 when it was originally released back in late 2013 and a second time on the PC. I thought the ending was fairly disappointing. The game was also free back in mid May 2020 for a week from Epic Games.

    • +3

Gone are the days where Rockstar could release GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas all within 4 years.

  • I could be wrong, but Isn't GTA5 online still a free download on ps5? And it's only like $15 to buy the single player story add on

    • +4

There was an offer at launch for the first 3 months to claim GTA Online for free and GTA5 for $15. That offer has long since expired.

    • +1

And it wasn’t much value anyways considering how old the game feels

  • +4

I thought they'd already used the 'stunning visuals' tag on the Xbox 360/PS3 versions of the game…

  • Got the digital version for $14.99 back in March. Still sitting in my digital pile of shame.

  • Got ps4 version still unplayed… life

  • +1

$29.68 on PS store for PS5 or $15 just for GTA online also on PS store

  • HODL

  • +3

    Yes stunning visuals right.

Talk about flogging a dead horse for all the money it’s got left.

Rockstar has fallen so far into the sewers, just pathetic now.

    • +1

I'm sure they're wiping away their tears from your hurtful words with $100 bills.

  • +1

    I refuse
