    They are also 1.5V, unlike most 1.2V rechargeables (required by some devices), have a wider operating temperature, and last considerably longer than most other (non-lithium) single-use batteries.

  eneloops can be bought at nearly the same price and used hundreds of times. this is just a waste of money and materials
