Also if you pre-order in-store, make sure to confirm the price with the cashier. She asked me if it was $89 and I said the site said $79 so she confirmed and updated it.
Sonic Frontiers looks very very poor at both the IGN First demonstrations as well as recent TGS show last week. Definitely not something to pre-order.
It's also out a day before God of War: Ragnarok which is… brave…
I disagree personally. Yeah the IGN First stuff was dreadful, they didn't explain anything and just made it look very bland. But the more they show and the more the mechanics get explained, looking pretty good imo.

Agreed. I'm a pretty big Sonic fan myself and I thought it looked pretty bad when IGN showed it.
The content they have shown since then has made me pretty hopeful that they've got something good here. The different islands, the cyberspace levels, the range of bosses, skill tree and Super Sonic that we've seen now looks pretty promising so I'm looking forward to it.
I'll be getting this on Steam though so no steel book for me.
Imma wait to see what Cybershell says about this.
