Meh the rubberised matte coating melts and just becomes sticky after one or two summers

      • i've had mine for 3 summers now and not sticky at all. some of the coating has rubbed off in wear spots or where i dropped it but it's fine. i never leave them in the car, btw

      • I have never had that issue, I had a prescription pair for 4 years or so and since LASIK I replaced the lens and have added another 2 years.

Maybe the quality has changed recently.

      • This, still my favourite though. Have one for working out that’s all screwed up, then another pair for going out/driving.

  • Thanks, OP.

Was after a good pair after I lost my Holbrooks at the beach.

New wayfarer classic RB2132 black one international size is $115.80 at checkout @The Iconic

  • Sunglass hut has it for $175

  • I stopped buying expensive sunglasses after I kept losing them… they're way too easy to lose unfortunately. Or for people to steal? Not sure.

    • So you don’t buy anything then? As people could steel anything really. Car, phone, clothes….

      • +1

        Steel. lol

        • Hahaha! Thanks apple autocorrect, that’s totally what I meant.

used link from op. changed colour then got for $125.70 with coupon (added faster shipping)

    and difference for international model?

    • This is the real deal. Cheers!

    • I'm guessing you chose a non-polarised colour lens.

  • Is it worth buying if I need prescription lenses? Thinking to buy it for the frame and get the lenses replaced from the local Specsavers etc?

    • +1

yes but i would buy the non-polarised version unless you also wear contacts and intend to swap the original lenses back in at some point. i did this buying the frame for $97 at catch then got the rx lenses done at opsm when they have a 20% off sale

  • Another ozbargain I didnt need, but wanted. Thanks OP.

  • This deal is pretty much live again, but 30% off at discount without code.
prices vary by style. but got the default black rubber polarised for $150

quick tip. check for the "p" after the Rayban logo on the glass for polarised versions
