Fastmail will cover your needs for $75 a year, provided you're fine with all 10 addresses sharing the same account.
Fastmail will give you unlimited email addresses if you don't mind them being randomly assigned and all going to the same email box :)
In a similar boat with Ventra. The thing you have to look at is whether your running (or looking at running) addon domains and the overall cost, even if you're not using the hosting element.
If you're just using one domain, 10 emails - then another company might be cheaper with a mail only option. That being said, most seem to not have bulk discounts for less than 10 emails. You could be looking at $30pm ($360pa)
Even on Ventra's most expensive hosting plan ($19pm), you have unlimited emails plus a hosting option to do whatever with.

I'd suggest using Ultahost with their email hosting plan or shared hosting if needed. Here's my affiliate link - https://ultahost.com/#joeltech if you want to take a look but comparatively to VentraIP, prices are much better even on the lowest plans.
Do you need the cpanel mailbox?
I use my domain register to forward to gmail so no hosting required.
