Looks like the previous deal from the 8/9/22 is back for Azure and Cosmic colour LAMY Al-Star fountain pens, and now $0.65 cheaper for that extra ozbargainer value. Bought two for just-in-case presents.
Will likely arrive in a small plastic sleeve (i.e. minimal packaging) but writes beautifully if your handwriting is beautiful.

It's really not too bad these days. There are lots of tutorials online if that's your thing. For what it's worth I have several Lamys at various price points and these are a great starter for the price.
I use an eyedropper and just buy ink in bottles. This makes it much cheaper to refill and it really isn't all that different from using a converter.
I have a couple of the converters which work well.
If you DO want to refill the supplied cartridges, I'd suggest using a syringe (I've got a couple with blunt/flat ended needles). Clean and accurate. No messes!
