Hi all,
I WFH Full Time and have a 40" TV mounted in the corner of the room for watching TV (mainly morning + afternoons for the News) and streaming with Chromecast connected (like the V8 Supercars on some Fridays).
Well, the 40" Soniq I have appears to have died. Won't power on even though the little red LED is showing Power is connected. It seems to be a common problem with Soniqs.
So, time for a new one. What is the best bang for buck but relatively cheap TV? It doesn't need to be 4K or necessarily have Android TV, just needs HD TV (which most TVs have anyway) and an HDMI port.

JB has a 40" Hisense for $400 which I just bought for my Grandma; I decided to go for a "brand name" over the no namers; as they usually are always slow and clunky.
Also the Hisense has a 3 year warranty
