  • If you have VR, get it on PC

wait so after it leaves, can you continue to play and redownload the game?

    • Yes.

      • That's the case 99.99999% of the time. But I have come across some on Xbox 360 atleast that won't be able to be redownloaded, and FWIW it's already a huge hassle downloading games on that if you have a long purchase history.

        • For example?

          • @bargainatoraah: Trying to find one, but I know a 360 game in my history is unable to and gives a error trying to redownload, that everyone else sees, have the best part of 500 digital 360 games so a little hard to narrow down….

Did see this article too in a quick 2 min search on Google.

            https://www.trueachievements.com/n47559/microsoft-store-deli…

            • @scuderiarmani: The updates in that article suggest it may be a technical issue rather than Microsoft actively pulling the plug on anything.

              • @Shenannigoat: Trying to find it still. Can 100% guarantee there is atleast 1 360 game that is 100% gone, even for redownloading though.

                https://delistedgames.com/for-xbox-360-games/

'Some items may be permanently delisted and may show up as ‘Content not available’. Some of this unnamed content may still be downloadable but you may run into the error message above. Unfortunately, there is not a problem with the Xbox service, the item you are trying to download has been completely removed. '

I have a tonne like this too. I know some of it is DLC too. Old Assassins Creed titles were in the news recently with some similar news, but unsure if 100% removed.

                • @scuderiarmani: I haven't had this problem (yet), but it concerns me mildly.

                  • @Shenannigoat: I actuary repurchased a 360. Took me MANY weeks to download my library. Though I'll have to do some licence transfer and 'redownload' them again ffs. Can't be certain I have all my DLC, guarantee much of it is gone. Wish their was a way to filter out other crap like demo's, videos etc etc. Unfortunately they removed the ability to add downloads to your console on a website years ago.

Also, download speeds are PITIFULLY slow.

It also regularly crashes and freezes as you go through your history on the console. Definition of pain, scrolling for ages only to freeze right before the end.

Picked it up, thanks OP. Hope it's not too much of a nightmare with a controller.

I have played the first 2 briefly, from memory they were harder than normal though I believe people had done tweaks and setup suggestions online to assist.

      • Can this be used with a Logitech wheel ?

        • +1

Believe so. Quick Google suggests yes.

        • +1

Certainly can, I have the G920 and it is very good. I like it because you can calibrate the brake pedal etc. whereas other sim games I have played you can't do this on console.

  • +2

Hmm might give it a try. Thanks OP.

  • This vs project cars 3 which is currently $19 at JBHifi for physical standard edition?

    • +1

Project cars 2 is sim as 3 is more Arcade

    • project cars 3 is terrible.

  • +1

Went to buy it, found that project cars 2 standard edition is part of my games with gold library.
    Please check before you buy..

$14 for all that DLC is probably a bargain.

  • Great career mode, game plays very nicely with a wheel

  • -2

90% off sounds so cheap but since you still pay $22.47 ($14.52 + $7.95) for the full game, it no longer feels good value.

It would have been nice if it was an Xbox Play Anywhere title.

    • +1

Definitely not that cheap when compared with other titles facing being delisted. I don't see why a years old game would be 145 buckes either? Not why I should buy it whne I already have various GT and Forza games

      • Here's the thing, no one is forcing you to buy it.

Given its 9.2 IGN review, and more sim like feeling, plenty of people enjoy it.

        • +1

I paid the full price for the deluxe edition on release and I am very happy with it, and I certainly have got my moneys worth out of it. For $23 for the game and every DLC seems like an absolute bargain, especially considering it is going to be delisted soon.

    • LOL, buying Project Cars 2 by itself would be buying the 'Full game'. DLC = additional content, not required to enjoy the game.

      • And it's like 4 cars for 50% more or so…. Hardly a big deal.

  • Hopefully there will be a similar deal for PlayStation!

  • Were you guys able to install it on Xbox? Can't seem to find it on the store or my list of games ?
