Hiya. I noticed a user mentioned that mobile phones potentially get up to 3.5% cashback with Shopback and Cashrewards through Amazon. Is this the case for iPhones? I recall another user mentioning that Apple iPhones are considered their own separate category. Would anybody be able to confirm if they were able to get cashback through Amazon when buying an iPhone?

yeah, that's what I'm confused about - there doesn't appear to be a category for anything 'Apple' related, but I've heard anecdotally that they're treated separately? I'm not sure how to check what category something falls into without actually purchasing - not sure if I want to base my purchasing decision on the potential cashback rate or not

NEVER do this. Especially with how often cashbacks fails. It should only be a bonus, not a deciding factor.
You're better off getting 5-10% off corporate program gift cards for JB Hifi etc.
Yes how right you are.

Traditionally, Apple devices are always 0% cashback so you'll get nothing at all — in fact, if you look at the typical cashback categories, the vast majority are 0% anyway:

Isn't this something you can just look up on the T&C page of the respective cashback program you want to use? Ctrl+F apple, see if it has its own exclusions, if not, then you're all good.
