Made in France can simply mean Tumblers manufactured in china and then packaged in France.
Same as high end luxury Bags and wallets.
No, it means they’re made in France.
made in france, with equipment from china, material from china, ;)
Trust me bro.
I have freinds who import from china directly and visited factories
As long as they package or label or event slightly modify the glasses in france by engraving the glasses at the bottom with brand, they can say they are made in franceI'm gonna choose not to trust you, seeing as how old duralex is and how quickly they would be named and shamed if they didn't actually produce their glasses in France..

These are perfect when guests come over and you have to serve them something to drink
Yes food would be a challenge in those. Especially steaks
Piccolo size I think?
For espresso or lungo
It's a demitasse size. So yeah, anything that can be served in a demitasse: espresso, turkish, (traditional) macchiato, (smaller) piccolo, etc.
Also commonly used to serve sparkling water alongside coffees in more hipsterish places.
avoid. used these as shot glasses and did not end well
Thanks for the warning, no further explanation required
Under $8 at peter of kensington ebay with 20/22% off.
The glasses I grew up with.
They're in every cantine of every school in France.
They're not pretty, but they're solid AF.
Thanks OPOfcourse, they wont break because you won't be using them much. they will remain stacked in a corner for generations
I've been waiting for a deal on these because 2 of mine just exploded in the same week.
Had them for years though, and heavily used for morning coffee.
These are the one’s for piccolo or espresso

This is the exact same size glass, just a different shape. I can assure you, the Provence (which I personally prefer) can be used for espresso and (small) piccolo too. :)
They both can be used for the exact same drinks, basically just have a different grip / feel in the hand.
I remember this brand in the 70's falling on the floor and just bounce unbroken. Not the same anymore these days.
maccas were giving these for free last month
Unfortunately not a reason for me to go to there….
