[Kogan First] Polaroid Unisex Sunglasses $5 Shipped @ Kogan

270

Sunnies from a recognizable brand selling cheaply. Have metal frames and some are polarised as well to reduce glare and eye strain.
Were already on clearance from $7.99- $13.99, but now reduced to $5 for Kogan First members. Free 14 day trial membership; cancel anytime.
Some of them are selling for ~$20-$30 on eBay. Were they in more mainstream or popular colours, a couple of these models can sell for >$50, which I mention only to give some sort of idea about the quality.

  • thanks op, these will be good summer spares!

  • Good work, OP, but the sizing for sunglasses is something I'm still trying to get my head around. Of the unisex polarized ones listed above and in stock, the Pld 6030/S appears to have the largest bridge size yet they are advertised by Kogan with, "Gift your kids the…" etc. The stated sizes seem to fall into the middle of the common ranges, if not slightly towards the larger end but why are they talking about kids?

    • I found this site (https://fashioneyeglassworld.com/kids-adults-glasses-measure…) that mentions:
"One’s bridge size can vary from 14 mm all the way to 24 mm, depending on far apart the eyes are set and the width of one’s nose.
A child’s bridge though, could be similar to that of an adult…"

I think the one thing that matches up is that the smaller frame size of 50mm better suit smaller faces, even if it's on the upper end of the size range for kids (usually 40mm- 50mm).
