Where to Find Reasonable Gas Provider in Victoria?

Here I find many complaints on the rising rates of electricity whereas no one seems to worry over gas rates?

Some years ago I have never concerned about my gas bills, but since Covid 19 started my gas bills has been rising steadily. I replaced my aged Brivis ducted Gas heater (32 years old) in May 22 thinking it might be the cause. However nothing changes favourably. I used to turn on our gas heater almost whole day during winter in the past but now have to keep this under control not over 5 hours daily and always keep the temperature not more than 18 degrees. We are two elderly persons and do go out every day.

We are now with Globird from AGL since January 2022 as we feel the latter’s gas rates are too much. Would be too happy to get comments on this subject.

    Although everyone on non-fixed rates has gone up. The whole gas supply from Russia/Ukraine thing along with Australia not having long term contracts from our own suppliers.
