  I hate how Baseus went with the attached cable route with their new range. I understand the convenience, but the cable is the most likely to break first.

      I was referring to the retractable USB-C Cable, but also agree that the power cable should be a figure-8 (which would also resolved the lack of insulated pin, if you used your own cable).

        Doesn't affect insurance as it's not hardwired and no difference from travellers bringing in foreign power devices and travel chargers

  I really like the idea of this, but for a WFH setup the USB C really needs to provide 100w or more to power multiple devices (when ones a proper laptop).

  According to the specs, it look like a single usbC connection maxes out at 45w? Is this correct OP?

    I think it's 65W (20v/3.25A) max on either USB-C port, (not simultanousely).

  I would buy the shit out of this baseus stuff if they had proper Australian plugs (or a detachable cable I could replace). This one even has an outlet that I bet feels dangerously wiggly

  Sometimes I just wondering why we can't simply use the US / CN plug type which take the 2 pin plugs? It will make things much easier.

    I think the AU plug designer/inventor wants to take care the polarity of the electricity.

    I have a Xiaomi powerboard at home for some devices with US and EU plug. But makes sure the home content insurance covers it before buying one. 😁
