Inkbird ITC-308 Temperature Controller from $39.59 ($38.60 eBay Plus) Delivered @ Inkbird eBay

Inkbird's awesome temperature controller is part of the current eBay 20% sale and they haven't jacked prices, plus delivery is included. w00t!

I've got one of these and use it for homebrew, and it's simply awesome. Use it to control a fridge or freezer and keep the temperature at a nice, steady, even level to produce superior results. It's the single best upgrade to my homebrew kit that I ever did. Apparently it's good for aquariums and terrariums as well.

There are a few versions of this controller that will suit various needs:

ITC-308 with basic probe - $39.59/$38.60 w/ Plus
ITC-308 with removable probe - $39.99/$38.99 w/ Plus
ITC-308 with removeable 12" steel probe $43.99/$42.89 w/ Plus
Wireless ITC-308 with basic probe $47.99/$46.79 w/ Plus

  • These are great. Ive used one to convert a slow cooker into a yogurt maker.

  • Also 306t with wifi and timer, but no cooling circuit.

  • Apparently it's good for aquariums

no, it's not. The probe will get rust.

The sealer is a great price at about $45. Amazon has it for 90 and it only goes on sales for 60ish typically

    There is a cheaper 308 basic. 43.99 less 9.68 = 34.31 from seller gooasis.

    • Cheaper, yes, but only $5 more to buy direct from the manufacturer. I personally would go with the latter option.

  • Would this be OK to control a solid state relay for a sauna heater

    • It will control a 240V heater directly.

      • Needs to control a relay as the current is 15A

        • +1

Well if the relay / SSR has 240V control then yes. But the beauty of this thing is that it is a self-contained controller - if you already have a relay then perhaps another (eg. panel mount) controller + probe will be cheaper and more fitting.

Same price now on Amazon, bought one 2 weeks ago for the lizard tank. Works well

  • Recommended, I bought one for my dumb 'moveable' aircon last summer and its worked quite well. Saved me getting a 'smart' aircon that probably wouldn't be much quieter. Read the instructions - there are a lot of parameters to set.

  • You can add these to the Smartlife app instead of Inkbirds app for those with existing smart home stuff in Smartlife.
