Recommendation for Smoke Detector Installation Melbourne VIC

Hi, I have a large residential house and the smoke detectors are out of date and need replacing. I may also require additional smoke detectors installed in each bedroom. The existing smoke detectors are wired. I also want these interconnected, as it is an existing house I believe this will be via a base unit. Could anyone provide a recommendation of a reputable company/electrician in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne? Thankyou.

    • Thanks for your help, I have done a google search myself, I was more looking for personal positive experiences from fellow members who have had work done themselves and can recommend a specific company.

        Each one has reviews listed.

        • Yeh right, and we should believe the reviews?

          • @Ocker: and why would anyone believe the reviews here?

Do you really need that explaining to you?

Both groups are random people on the internet.

                • @jv: Right, so there's a bunch of OzBargain users who troll waiting to find a post asking for recommendations for an electrician so they can spruik a bad electrician as a good electrician.

Whereas there's a business/dude on the internet who adds fake reviews for their business with the intention of fooling unsuspecting customers.

One of these happens every day, the other doesn't.

Oh JV, even you're not that silly.

Its a simple task nothing special about it, any licensed electrician can do it. Just ring few and get some quotations then pick one. job done.

I recently installed Red Smoke Alarm. For those ones that are wired, you can interconnect the new alarm with existing wires and have a wireless base fitted to one of the wired alarm. Then install wireless alarms with lithium battery in any new locations to wirelessly interconnect them.
