    I think this is a fair question. Major film and video game production companies are addressing 'diversity' with increasingly hamfisted, nonsensical characters and plotlines shoehorned in, often making the end product a thematic mess.

    'Woke' is a new word anyway, but its meaning is moving away from 'progressive' to 'being seen to be progressive', which most can agree is tokenistic populism that doesn't improve things for anyone.

    And to answer your question, yes.
