  • Great Find! Too bad not available at my local store

  • Same would have grabbed if stores with stock were closer

    • -2

Just pay postage like I did. $9.90 from Lithgow. Bought the last three from them.

      • +3

        $5 post for repco members

  • +3

Thanks OP. Grabbed one from Gympie store. If you type Bowden's clearance in search bar it brings up some other bargains too if in stock.

  • +16

usually, I like the humourous way they name their products, but they went too far as to name one of them Orange agent

    • +5

Yeah literally a chemical weapon gave a generation of innocent kids horrifying deaths/birth defects and anyone who touched it cancer, just google the product name and images you wish you didn't want to see come up still.

      • if someone finds that funny, they are either a monster or a moron. I saw adults and children affected by this toxic chemical, and I got trauma for a while. Not a joke at all.

        • -3

The term agent orange has been used many many times as a selling item. It's more recognised as a marketing term than its original use during the war. Which most people currently alive never lived through.

          • +3

@Windows98: I still think it's in poor taste considering the connotations the name has.

            • @Flying Ace: I didn't downvote anyone, and I agree with you

          • @Windows98: Let’s start using the term Holocaust to promote products, since most people alive never lived through it.

        • Like i said before, i enjoyed the way this brand name their products, except this one. Making fun of what similar thing that still make people sufffering is not nice. I don't said I boycott or attack anyone that use this brand. I find that sometimes ignorant is a bliss. Yeah you're the one need to grow up

        • -1

It's not about being triggered, it's about being sensitive enough to recognise that calling a product after a chemical that caused untold misery to millions of people is perhaps not in the best of taste.

    • Why?? What does it mean??

    • +2

It was originally called Agent Orange too - this is the 'milder' version of the name…

    • -3

Ugh. What's next? Sour warheads promote violence? If Big Kev was still alive selling his orange based cleaning products in 2022 there would be accusations of fat shaming no doubt.

      • +4

clearly, this is so stupid. I don't give a sh!t with your sour warheads lollies, or companies changed names like Coon cheese, Redskins, etc, etc.. This is another story: strongly implement a cleaning product named some very toxic chemicals to clean/wipe out vegetation, and forest, which also affected hundreds of thousands of people, maybe more. and yes, it's 2020 and people, especially children in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, even from US, Canada, Australia, Korea are still suffering from that. So next time before saying something brainless and heartless, please do research

        • -2

Thanks for proving my point. What's in a name? Cool your jets it's a only citrus based cleaner not a carcinogenic herbicide (I did my research)

      • +1

        Big Kev…I'm excited!!!!

    • +6

Works well on my Boeing 747 undercarriage.

  • Thanks OP.Just ordered one from Shepparton store for c& c. Saying 7 still available.

  • Ahhh I missed out!

  • Anyone know a way to get that big kit without going into the store for the discounted price?

    • +2

Also for anyone wondering there are more in stock at regional stores for example Warrnambool VIC post code 3280 etc and 4.95 delivery.

      • Cheers! I added them to my cart and then decided to risk it and purchase a few things I knew I needed for the ride and by the time I checked out these products were sold out!

        • There's also some at Broken Hill & Deniliquin and probably a bunch of other stores.

Also, it looks like if you have anything in the basket that doesn't qualify for the Ignition discount, it will automatically keep de-selecting delivery and selecting 'click and collect' until you clear what you've entered into the Ignition field and just pay the $9.90.

Also, if it doesn't allow you to use PayPal, make sure that you've selected a state in the drop-down for that.

  • +2

Katherine NT still have some available to ship.

    • +1

      None now.

  • Bought the last one from the Portland store for delivery, thanks.

  • +1

For those who missed out there are still stock at Palmerston NT for delivery and CC.

    • Thanks
Hopefully sent to WA direct to front door, for $4.95

First time ever paid for delivery from Repco. So easy, once you know which stores have stock.

      $19.95 delivered still a bargain

    • OOS now at Palmerston

Shows still available at Mount Isa

      • How do you see which stores have stock on Repco website?

    • +2

If anyone's still looking, I was told Emerald & Rockhampton & Mount Isa QLD still have stock.

      • Showing 4 each at Emerald & Mount Isa stores & 1 at Rocky store & 7 at Gladstone store. Biloela & Yeppoon also have stock

        • How do you check which stores have stock on Repco website?

          • @Spending2Much: I just enter a suburb or town where it says change store & then I add the item to find out if its available or not ,if it is I just keep adding until it says maximum quantity available at this store.

            • @Triple J: Don't do it in mobile, it's terribly clunky and slow. Try desktop browser if you can.

  • Cheers OP.
I was super excited for the Holy Humungous Kit v2 but can't find it @ North Parra.
Can only find V1 which is over 1k.

I wanted to compare the two as well, but I can't, as I can't see it anymore.

    • +1

Same. Would have bought Holy Humungous V2.
Can't see link on Repco website

      • If we could find the link, then we can easily price match @ SCA.

That was my game plan @Spending2Much 😅

Alternativly, spares box have it for $584. Still double of this deal. But you can look at the difference there or the bo official site. I'll have a look tomorrow and post back here if I get to it before you.

  • Holy Humungous Kit is $1040 at Repco???

    Can't see anything $350???

    • @Spending2Much apparently

    • +1

Yes, only at the North Parra store. I created a separate post for it but admin deleted it.

      • It's a shame that the link was taken down. We could have used it to our advantage @afie

  • Just chose click and collect for my local. There was replenished stock but limited to 2.

  • My order status says delivered but haven't received any shipping notifications.

  • First time using Repco home delivery
Usually request C&C from local store.

Repco having this option, to click and collect to local store, presuming from another store or main depot, is better than SCA, where, if the local store doesn't have it in stock, there's no click and collect option, and the only other option is to pay for delivery. And usually at $19.99, Repco have a $4.99 delivery.

Apparently after a week, my parcel has only just made it from Darwin, to Adelaide…and still has to make it across the Nullarbor to country WA.

But, happy to wait, considering under $5 delivered to my door…

  • If you bought from the Gladstone Store just a head up their packages had not been picked up recently 7 boxes packed and waiting in the corner. Mine been sitting there for a week and one of the staff is following up to get toll to pick up.

  • If you search bowdens then filter by "Clearance" there's a couple other bargains. $29 for Beautiful Beads Pack ($100 on Bowdens Site) and $6 for Naked Glass Packs with either an Inta-Mitt ($22 at SCA for mitt only) or Big Softie ($15 at SCA softie only).
