LOL. I bought a netbook for the exactly same reason.
Comparing apples and oranges
You can still buy Optus My Tabs new from a few suppliers for $150 - $200 and these have integrated 3G (and just about everything else you can put in a tablet!!). I've just travelled interstate using the My Tab as phone, emailer and browser using both 3G (Live Connect/Optus) and WiFi and its a bloody brilliant device at the price, even two years after it was first released.. Optus should roll out another generation but updated to Android V4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)…..

Actually Q3, may be end of the year here.
Hm. Not sure if good deal or not. With the Google I/O conference coming soon along with the announcement of the nexus tab. At this price this might actually be a below average deal since the nexus tab is expected to be cheaper and quad core too. I would advise people to not buy any 7" tab. Unless of course the galaxy tab 7.7 sells for this price.
Have to say, 7" is really small….
I got one in the $199 + $10 deal and it's a beautiful tablet for this sort of money. No comparison to anything else in that price range that I've seen.

I have one of these units. Awesome tablet at this price point. Highest screen Density of any android tablet. 216ppi pixel density.
It was recently available for $198 (price match at OF). Otherwise, very good tablet and good price.
