Not sure if these kingmax drives are good or not but anything under $1 a gb is a deal i guess.

    Max Read: up to 275MB/s
    Max Write: up to 175MB/s

    for the OCZ drive so this could\should be a faster drive.

      Fair point, but it's worth remembering that it's also $29.95 cheaper ($118.95 -$89.00) shipped. ;)

        Even the article says give it a miss until <$100 !!

        I always hate seeing "up to"… like Wifi can get up to 300mpbs..

        But the Octane is only SATA2 which in my mind is outdated. I don't think u can expect other SSD like ocz or kingmax to be as fast as the Intel 520 in the review. Intel is double the price and u can probably raid the others?

        Actually mwave have the OCZ Agility 3 on special also at $118.
        Probably be better of spending an extra $8 there.

        That one looks good if you are into a decent 120GB SSD. There is also Sandisk 120GB around the same price (a bit more).
