Now that a lot of us have free Deliveroo Plus from the MasterCard deals (1, 2, 3). Being a new week I thought I'd check to see if there are any decent Deliveroo deals to pair with it. Until Sunday you can get 40% off the entire menu at both Hungry Jack's and Oporto when you spend $30 or more in a single transaction. You will also receive free delivery when your subtotal (after discount) is $20+ for Oporto or $30+ for Hungry Jack's. So make sure your cart adds up to at least $33.34 for Oporto or $50 for Hungry Jack's before the 40% off is applied to get free delivery.

    Last night my Deliveroo order was missing and I was trying to find my food around my neighbours houses for like half an hour in a cold rainy night, what's worse was that I was planning to watch the Eurobasket game when enjoying the food and when I found my food the game's already in 4th quarter, and what's even worse was that yesterday was my Bday lollllll.

        Nah after searching thru several times among the neighbours, the food sited at a hosue across the street lol. Cold but at least I don't have to be hungry, but really but experience tho.

    Just so people are aware of the true savings. Example:

    Oporto In-Store (SA):

    1 Triple Bondi Burger $11.95
    1 Veggie Burger $9.95
    1 Chips - Share $7.00
    Total $28.90

    Oporto on Deliveroo/Menulog (Delivery):

    1 Triple Bondi Burger $16.95 (30% jacked)
    1 Veggie Burger $13.95 (29% jacked)
    1 Share Chips $9.95 (30% jacked)
    Total $40.85

    Minus 40% discount = $24.51
    + Service fee $1.99 = $26.50
    + Free Delivery (Deliveroo Plus)
    Total = $26.50

    Net Saving from 40% off Promo = 8% (+ free delivery / not having to pick it up).

    I used purchase the above combo for $23.90, using the unique Menulog $5 off Pick up codes (10am-4pm). However unfortunately they no longer offer pick up. Menulog would offer regular prices for pick up but then change to the above prices if you selected delivery.

    Still a good deal, you are still saving money vs pick up and getting free delivery and any gift card savings, but just keep this info in mind so you are aware of the true savings vs going in store. As is often the case with these delivery services/deals.

      yup, i tried to order before and i realise that i really do have to order $30 of Hungry Jacks (of in-store value) to meet the criteria for discount and free delivery… and still in the end after service fee i will still need to pay $30+

      I feel pretty dirty ordering that much Hungry Jacks and i decided to cancel it…

      If you travel 10km return to do a pickup it's going to cost you

      $2 of petrol assuming 10L/100km fuel efficiency + $2/L for petrol.

      Not including your wear and tear to vehicle + 20-30mins of your time.

    Ordered HJ after work yesterday and then waited for two hours before deciding to follow up, as the order was stuck on “Preparing your order.” Customer service kept asking to wait a bit longer even though I mentioned that the restaurant has closed, where would the driver get food from, even if I do wait. By that time, all the other restaurants on Deliveroo also closed and were only taking pre-orders for next day. While some of the same restaurants were still open on Doordash and Uber eats. Not really a good experience when you are starving.
