Was at Supa IGA Thornlie earlier tonight and spotted the drinks on sale. Seems like a decent price. Not sure if valid anywhere else though and couldn't find it online.

    HFCS or sugar?

Congratulations, you have successfully listed the ingredients for 1 of the possible types of Dr Pepper :)

The cans in the photo are the UK version, US has a different logo. UK version uses sugar.

That's probably all you had to say then as the description doesn't state the origin. If they're asking which one it is then I'm sure they know the difference between US and UK ingredients.

My IGA sells the US version, Coles sells the UK version.

Carbonated water, HFCS, caramel colour, phosphoric acid, artificial and natural flavors, sodium benzoate, preservative, caffeine.

  • which one do you prefer?

    • i can't remember… our local coles sells the sugar one from the UK… I haven't tasted the US one for many years…

I wish my local IGA stocked Dr. Pepper

  • We got some from The Reject Shop a few days ago. 12 (?) cans for $15, so not a great price, but the boy was excited. The can was different to the one in that pic, it has 'Dr. Pepper' in an small oval - more like this one: http://www.productwiki.com/upload/images/dr_pepper.jpg but not exactly the same.

They also had Cherry Coke (his other favourite) for the same price.

    • The Reject Shop stocks the American Dr Pepper, so it is slightly pricier but has a different taste to the normal UK import that we get.

Recently my wife picked up 120ish cans of Dublin Dr Pepper from her local reject shop for $15 for 24 cans (because she is friends with the store mgr)

      • I thought that might've been the case. He doesn't like the 'other' one, which must be the UK one according to the comments on here. You learn something new every day!

  • Crazy Don's in Kelmscott has 24 cans for $12, had a whole pallet of them last time I was there.

    • Aw, I wish Kelmscott wasn't so far away. It seems every 6 months or so IGAs put the slabs on special. Last time it was $10 for 24.

  • Anywhere in Melbourne under that $1 a can? Reject Shop in VIC have the 15$ for 12 cans deal?
