This is assuming you can get the app to work

    • +5

And to actually find a good deal to use this code with…..

      • +3

New Memphis burgers. Glad I waited for a discount like this to try them.

        • +1

          Worth it?

          • @ShouldIBuyIt: Haven't had yet. Burgers look decent though.

            • +1

@MiscOzB: I'm tempted. Need to convince the partner…

              • +7

@ShouldIBuyIt: does she earn the bread or something

                • +3

                  @the cringe: username checks out

                  • +13

@Leho: yeah I know, imagine having to ask your partner if you're allowed to buy a burger or not, lmfao

                    • +4

@the cringe: 🤷‍♂️ not my business what happens in their relationship

hopefully you asked your partner permission to be on the internet

                    • +2

@the cringe: It’s called marriage bahaahha

                      • +9

@prankster: married for 8 years. can understand discussing something that costs a few hundred bucks or more but a burger? now this is hard for some to understand but take a deep breath, have a bit of a feel down there until you re-find your balls, and go purchase whatever you wish to with your hard earned money. jfc 🤣

                        • +4

@the cringe: I totally agree with where you are coming from and it's really sad if a guy is so much under control that he can't buy something he wants or needs. But I was just thinking maybe he meant convince her to eat junk food for dinner. Maybe she's on health program or loosing weight? But if it's in regards to the price of a burger having to be approved of by wife/girlfriend, then yeah I agree, that's just sad and wrong.

                          • +3

@wonderboy4: Ah yes I also thought of that but then I thought "if she's on a diet, why does that effect what he wants to eat?"

This again will fall under that abusive sort of control.

I guess we will never know. ShouldIBuyIt, I hope you did buy it and enjoy it. You only live once 😁

                • +3

                  @the cringe:

'does she earn the bread or something'

Nah .. she 'brings home the bacon (burgers)' … ;P

        • absolute trash burger dont buy it

          • +2

@sephiano: Lol guys, I thought I'd give you enough time to discuss the matter.
I'm still in the process of deciding whether I submit the expense suggestion to my breading partner or I reserve the option for a more important occasion.

What do you guys think I should do? Maybe a forum post?

            • +1

@ShouldIBuyIt: Bruhh pm a delivery location and I'll buy you both the damn burger for lunch today 😅

        • HOW'S THE MEMPHIES BURG?

          • @capslock janitor: Pretty good but probably wouldn't buy again, would prefer without the onion rings.

            • @MiscOzB: i tried the double whopper memphis ln and liked the onion rings provided sweetnes

              not for full price tho

    • +1

I'm about 1 for 10. No idea why I keep trying.

      • +1

The app won't even accept a payment for me now doesn't matter what way I try and pay for it. They have lost so many purchases because of it.

  • +1

Not the cheapest, I remember getting the meal delivered for less than $3

    • +6

I remember when the vouchers had 2 Whoppers for $6.
Seems like a massive bargain now.

    • +8

Remember when you could get a BBQ cheeseburger free with any purchase (survey) + free medium chips from shake n win or after that bbq cheeseburger, small chips and drink for $1 (shake n win prize + survey receipt).

      Those were the good times.

      • +3

I remember as a kid we used to go hungry jacks on the weekend and for the family meal deal you’d get 2 whoopers, 2 hamburgers, 4 small chips & 4 drinks for $9.95

Good old times, send me back to the 90’s lol

        • +2

I remember friday night $1 cheeseburgers in Belconnen

      • +4

Until less than a year ago you could use a receipt survey number to get a FREE small chips and small coke added to the purchase of a $2 BBQ cheeseburger. Two bucks a burger, chips and drink.

Before that, the receipt survey deal got you a free cheeseburger.

HJs craps all over Maccas when it comes to free stuff/vouchers/etc.; and it has for more than a decade. If ONLY HJs had actual fries (instead of boring old fat chips), my kids and I would go there every time a fast-food slash was approved by the trouble-and-strife. Like all kids though, mine much prefer the thin Maccas ones to the fat HJ ones; so Maccas it usually is. Why doesn't HJ's 'get' this, and at least OFFER actual fries? If they did that, their profits would skyrocket to astronomical heights almost instantly.

Now, on the subject of HJs back to the 1990s mentioned above, I never understood why they discontinued the 'Swiss burger'. It was by far the most wondrous creation ever generated by any fast-food outlet the world over. It had a delicious creamy sauce, and actual pieces of mushroom.

        • +5

HJ used to have fries, they then switched to thick cut chips and they are so much better at HJ imo.

          • @pennypincher98: Ask any kid whether they prefer the thin bits of fried 'potato' (using the term loosely) served at Maccas, or the thick bits of fried potato served at HJs. Literally ANY kid. Probably because I am still very immature despite being of a highly advanced age, I share the opinion of all of these kids. I surmise that the actual fries sold by Maccas are way yummier than the thick planks of crap sold by HJs simply because of the difference in surface area-to-volume ratio.

            • +2

@GnarlyKnuckles: Okay yes I admit in the kids meals they should still include fries because salty straws are what kids are exactly after. I'm definitely glad they have chips though.

            • +2

@GnarlyKnuckles: Going on real-life survey of my 4.5 and 1.5 yo, when comparing the two companies fried potato offering, both the fries and the hashbrowns win out at hungry jacks.

In saying that they both eat more of the homemade mash potato than fries, there's never any of that left on plates.

Shame their app is absolutely horrendous most of the time and getting worse. Slow to open/start up. Constantly asking for new password/reset. 'App only' deals only work half the time 'loading store menu', 'this store doesn't support… so and so'.

    • +5

Weird, that's my experience with the Macca's app. No issue with HJ

    • +1

'Shame their app is absolutely horrendous most of the time and getting worse.'

May I ask hombre, what type of phone are you using? My 3-year-old (fairly crappy) Samsung has zero issues with the HJs app. Conversely, on my Nokia 2.3 (a crappy phone in all respects except its phenomenal/epic battery life) the HJ app is virtually unusable …

Hey Joshua, why did you hide your name in red
