When Do 3rd Party Retailers (E.g. JB Hi-Fi, David Jones) Get The Latest Apple Products?

Plan to use discounted gift card to purchase 2022 Apple products, not sure how long I need to wait for.
If it is too long I'd simply go with Apple Store.

Does anyone here have previous experience? Thanks a lot!

    I picked up my iPhone 12 Pro day 1 release at jb despite them saying there was no free allocations left for blue lmao 🤷🏻‍♂️

      The distributors ship a select few units, and try to allocate it fairly. Generally the stores receive them a day or 2 before release. However, Samsung shipped Fold/Flip 4 stock early, and were allowing anyone that pre-ordered stock, were allowed to pick it up 10 days early.

  On release day. But you'll have to go as soon as the store opens.

  Source: Used to work for David Jones who got them on release day, but sold out fast.

  Just check today. Most of the retailers do not have stock for apple watch 8 😭
  So Apple Store is the only place with full stock after the release date
