Hey Guys,

More often looking for deals then submitting them.
But i saw this on a tweet and believe its a good price (however there are only a limited of these being sold)

Getting a consistant 8~10MB/sec downloads with 50 connection (on 100mbit Telstra cable)

    Is the deal for one month only or is that price locked in until you cancel?

    And what provider's service do they resell?

    They make no mention of completion rate which is extremely important.

      I believe its on-going until you cancel.
      As stated on my invoice when i bought the unlimited 50 plan

        I just did some research on Highwinds. Their completion is bad. No wonder they didn't mention their completion rate.

        I'm glad I didn't jump onto this offer. Well I couldn't anyway since I'm already on contract with a different provider.

    What's quicker Rpnet or newsgroup?

    What the typical speed to expect from news groups?

      I get the same speeds from both, but after the whole Megaupload incident, I don't use rpnet as much. I'm on adsl1 and it usually maxes out my connection(600kb/s). Oh the joy of being on a rim 10km from the exchange.

        Well right now with Rpnet Im getting on average of 1.5 MB/sec and up to 7 MB/sec.

        I'm on the cable premium speed pack.

        How hard is it to find links with news groups?

          I only download a few GB a week, but I usually find everything I need on nzbmatrix(VIP status is one-time fee of $10) and use binsearch as an alternative.

          When I can't find something, is when I use rpnet.

          Use an NZB search engine like binsearch.info or nzbclub. Very easy.
