Anyone know where I can get a brand new 160gb classic for cheaper then the Apple store price. Don't suggest eBay please. I'm assuming upcoming EOFY sales may bring it down, but I'm not having any high hopes considering DSE's "sales" have 10% off MP3 players, but excluding iPod's..

I'm not clear on why you're excluding Ebay from your search. It's the first port of call for cheap electronics.
I've already looked at eBay. Used iPods with scratched backs are $150 - $200. New condition iPods are over $200. If I'm paying $210 - $250 for a new condition iPod I may as well buy a new iPod..
Well how much cheaper do you really want though? You'll find the mark up on Apple products are so low at the retail level and that's why pretty much every store has the same price. You will not find a new one any cheaper then $200
Well any sale or deal that includes 10% off iPods would do me for around $250ish.
My advice would be to get a cheaper one off Ebay and spend the money saved on some nice headphones. Obviously its your choice.
Nah I don't really want a used one unless it's in very good condition as I don't like my gadgets all scratched and worn. If nothing comes up by the end of financial year I'll just grab a Classic for the full price.
Besides I already use Klpisch s4i's for train/bus, and Sony MDR 500d noise cancelling headphones for the plane.
I was just looking to see if anyone knew about any upcoming sales which include brand new iPods.
So buy a new one from Ebay. People don't just sell used stuff there, and you'll find prices are pretty competitive.
