I have a backpack from Crumpler that has a lifetime warranty. Provided that the criteria is met and gets replaced, does the new replacement still get a lifetime warranty? It's a grey area from my understanding.
What about lifetime warranty just in general?
I had a Targus backpack with a lifetime warranty, thought it was a great backpack with a great warranty…. until it started to have manufacturing issues.
The part of the zip that does that hard work broke - replaced the entire backpack.
The stitching inside a pocket failed - replaced the entire backpack.
A buckle broke - replaced the entire backpack.
This all happen within the first year.
I was then informed they would not be replacing any more faults because in their words 'I got my money's worth out of the warranty'.
I told them if it broke again I'd want a refund because I'd been patient enough with them.
So far it hasn't failed again, but that was the Targus definition of Lifetime.
I
