So I found this listing in FB, for a XBOX 360 with 5 games and 2 controllers for $30, seller says everything is working. I am tempted but am not sure if this is worth it because I have never been into console gaming. Just wanna buy to play maybe once a week or so, but am not sure if this is a good deal in 2022, or if there are better options out there.

I still enjoy my 360, its actually my fav console of all time, however that's also got to do with the fact that I have great memories in the 360 era. Not sure how it would be for someone new, It's def worth it for 30 if everything works. You can find games for 5 - 10 dollars and play some awesome games like Mass Effect and such. Give it a shot, not bad for 30.
You can get adaptors that let you connect Xbox One controllers and such to the 360 (look up cronusmax), a little expensive to do so but if you don't like the 360 controller, its not a bad upgrade.

Sounds like a good deal, particularly if they’re good games. During the first lockdown I played Fallout NV and Assassins Creed on 360 and enjoyed it.
Older Xbox 360s usually have the disc drive get sticky or have issues working. I'd probably double check that if you don't end up wanting to put a mod chip in it. Personally I'd probably go for a more recent xbox, but hell at $30 unless you have issues with space, then why not.
I still play COD black ops zombies with mates most weeks, newer consoles have never been that appealing to me.
You can play GTA V on a 360.

Only somewhat related because in my case it's a PS3. Mine is still hooked up and still gets played. In fact, I just bought another one last month, not because I wanted another, but because he had a BNIB NOS Dual shock 3 and he was just selling it together. Since my OG dual shock 3 was on it's way out, I pulled the trigger.
So yes, a 360 can still be worth it. It's really the games that are important. And there are heaps of games in that generation that I would ZERO qualms about playing now.
If it's a 360S or later than definitely yes
$30 is a bargain
That's a really good buy. I own 3 xbox 360s and over 100 games. Still play it regularly.
