I can't stand physical Switch games that don't have the entire game on the cart.

    • +1

I have like 200+ games on Switch physically. If you're being really literal (meaning no patches or updates or DLC) my collection would have, like, 4 games that fit your description of 'all on the cart'.

      • +9

I believe Mr Threepwood is referring to only AC2 being on the card.
Brotherhood + Revelations require a 35GB content download.

        • -2

I'm aware of the implication. It's also only 35 if you download the movies and other additional unnecessary content.

          Still a big download regardless

        • +4

Haha nice pickup on Mr Threepwood
They dont name characters like they used to

        • Brotherhood and Revelations are both <10GB each. The rest of the 35GB is unnecessary

      • 200+ physical switch games? Is there even that many

        • A quick Google suggested that in Feb 2021 there was over 500

          • @Faro: Do you have any rare ones?

          • @Faro: its well over 500.

Theres so many asian / overseas only released versions as well.

I have like 210 and I know theres heaps of tiles in Australia alone I havent got yet.

Then you have games from Limited Run and Super Rare Games for example who keep pumping out new ones each week.

LRG alone are up to game #160.

        • I personally have 210.

          • @SpeedRunnerLink: Maybe I'm around 140ish actually. I don't really keep track. I just know a fair bit has accumulated since launch

            • +1

@Faro: I have a spreadsheet tracker of all Gaming collection.

I buy and sell games in used market often to build up my other collections (wii U, 3DS, Gamecube etc.) and keep costs of how much I've spent.

This way i can keep track of my spendings and dont let it get out of control.

Even though I've spent around $15k my collection is prob worth $50-60k.

      • Seriously? I have dozens that have no update at all. Nintendo also reprint carts with all updates on them regularly so you're rarely required to download anyhting at all.

        • I generally get first party titles on day one.

Which of yours have no updates required?

    • Same. Hard pass.

  • Is this decent? I only played the first when it came out

Many people say Ezio trilogy are the best games in the whole franchaise.

      • +1

I am one of those many. I love playing through the trilogy again every few years.

  • Does this run good on the switch?

    • Yes, if you play it in a well.

      • As in a water well?

      • I think this comment would of worked better if I asked ‘does this run well’

        • 🙃

        • Yes it does, if you watched the video I posted it seems to look great and better in some eyes the other consoles

      • 🤣 well played.

I’ve just quickly watched a few videos comparing and it seems to look the best on switch for some reason I don’t know hahaha

    • Runs fairly well on the switch. Just be aware if you played the game back in the PS3 era, you're not gaining anything. It's very much a port, graphics and all. The city holds up really well IMO, character models (specifically faces), not so much.

      • I'm pretty sure the resolution is improved over the ps3 as well as having a more consistent frame rate on Switch.

      • Going by the gameplay video comparison it looks better

Ezio will never requiescat en pace

  • Is it worth to get the Xbox One version for $30 to play on Xbox X series? I'm new to this.

    • +2

The ezio series is one of the best games i have ever played with story, acting, music, history, puzzles the whole atmosphere. There was a moment ill never forget when i was playing the game no spoilers but it blew my mind and i said wtf the same time as Desmond 🤯
If you love open world with story and history id definitely play this

    • +2

      Definitely get the Xbox version

      • What about playing the Xbox One version on Series X? Has anyone had experience with this, how does it do?
