  was the same price at costco

  the vtac lights are good works with smartlife but i returned them to costco because if they were turned off at the switch, they would never reconnect on turning them back on except by manually unpairing and repairing

    Same experience for me (bought and returned to Costco). Am slowly replacing my wifi bulbs with zigbee (Aliexpress) and am much happier with this.

        If I had the budget I would likely consider a similar route, but I had just moved in and didn't have the funds at the time. How much do the Philips bulbs set you back if you don't mind me asking? Might transition at some point.

    I have about 20 of these throughout my house and they reconnect fine when turned off at the switch. I have maybe had one or two unpair over a period of about a year and a half.

        I guess so, having had the couple of times they have unpaired I could see how that would be extremely frustrating if it happened regularly, so it is definitely something potential customers should be cautious of.

          @witheredcouch: could it be the app i used to pair? i paired them with smart life as opposed to the v-tac app because i had other lights that work with smart life and google only allows me to link one smart life account

            @Terra Australis: I used the V-Tac App, and interestingly enough have used it with all my other Tuya compatible devices as a lot wouldn't pair with their own apps, but happily paired with this.
