I haven't travelled for years now. Luggage trolley used to be free for AmEx card holders. Is it still the same?
If not, what's the pricing to use trolley?

Dont know about Sydney; but Melbourne airport is $4 per trolley. They are free if you find on in the carpark or in the international baggage claim area - but all other locations it cost money to get.
If I need one I normally just try to find one outside the bag drop area and then wheel it back. (Just get a friend/family member to mind the luggage when you go hunting).
Still $4 at Sydney airport. Not sure about Amex. Unused trolleys can be found in P7, assuming you are travelling overseas.
I believe they stopped offering free trolley for Amex cardholder back in 2017, also gone around the same time was the Express Path for Plat cardholders
