Nuki can be easily installed on the inside of your door, on top of your existing lock and key. Depending on the height of the lock cylinder, the Smart Lock can be clamped on it, or glued to the door. The key will be operated by Nuki as soon as you have configured your Smart Lock with the Nuki app.

Well, the argument need to be stronger, it's like, don't install glass door as people could throw rocks and bricks to get inside…
The idea of this nuki is to provide convenience from the looks of it, not so much security, as zero day could potentially hack it too…
They key is in the internal side of the door.
Most doors that require the lock internally people have thier key hanging in all the time anyway.

$250 for what is essentially a switch and servo to turn your key. I don't think so! Plus the fact it needs batteries to be replaced every 4 months??
Seems like for that amount of money you could find way better options esp if you are patient and say belong to a bargain forum where people share deals, just a thought ;D
Man i hate carrying a tiny key to unlock my house, its so annoying. (whilst he gets out of his car carrying his big wallet and big mobile phone)
nice idea..but having the key in the lock seems like a seucrity risk asking for trouble.
if it could open from the other side then at least that doesnt peovide access to someone who wants to compromise it.
