Amazon had the PC version for $9 once.
No digital code though, they shipped me a disc-less DVD case with the code in it.. (Because that's what we do to get a string of text apparently)

They took Battlefield 5, cut a bunch of features to make 128 players possible and them made some 2042 themed maps, vehicles and guns.
Big crap maps, bad gun play and added bugs
Was a total wreck
Any streamer who promoted it should be upset with themselves
Becasue they thought if they divert all resources into MP that it would turn out amazing for everyone.
Unfortunately it resulted in an utterly shit game instead as they couldn't get the COD money farming mechanic included in time.
It might have been $5 but the time wasted playing it is more valuable than the 5 bucks
Bought for 9 bucks via big w and honestly have been enjoying my time with it on ps5, definitely not worth full price but fairly fun

I could not find a single game server with a decent ping or enough people to play with.
… And how the hell do you search for servers with filters for region/ping/slots?
@hvbarg: Always queue for 64 player modes, dont even bother trying for 128 player games they are doneso
Ive just being playing the new map stranded and its breakthrough mode, infantry only and its fairly fun semi-locker style like from bf4 etc.
Otherwise if u want conquest just queueing 64 player conquest or the new map 64 player conquest should work I always find Australian servers (at least 1 always)
For those who havent played in a while.. Its pretty good now.. the new maps are pretty awesome.
I still feel upset about how the game launched.. But I'm really enjoying playing it now.
I know its fun to jump on the BF2042 is TerRiBle train.. But if you havent played it in a while i'd suggest giving it another go

I've been playing FPS games for over 25 years.. while 120fps is nice… It's certainly not make or break
