I have this fridge. Its a decent unit but one issue I have found is that there is often a high pitched whining noise during active cooling. This is something that I didn't see when I checked a few reviews before purchase but searching for the model number and 'high pitched noise' should bring up several reviews with this issue.

It is not super loud and depending on where you keep the fridge it may not be noticeable. It also doesn't seem like it is on all units which leads me to believe it could be fixed by tightening some of the mounting bolts on the rear, I just haven't gotten around to it. We keep ours in the kitchen and people notice the noise when they come over but I have become accustomed to it. It doesn't seem to bother the dog either which was one of our concerns.

The specs list temp range as a low of 10 C. I know for a fact ours is set to 8 C for the top section but have not cross checked the temperature. I might do so this afternoon and report back.

It says up to 46 bottles but that is only for Bordeaux style bottles, Burgundy and sparkling bottles will take up extra spots but do generally fit ok.

EDIT: Fridge goes to as low as 5 C on the settings for both shelves. Measured temp of wine in bottle with my fridge set to 8C (top shelves) and got a reading of 9C in the liquid. I've set the top shelf to 5C and will measure and report back if it can actually get that low. Might open a red later and will measure that too.

      • Legend for actually reproting back!

      • Tested bottom shelf when set to 15C and wine was at 14C.

Changed top to 5C and tested the air temp and it was 5C

  • I bought this last deal and doesn't have noise - really quiet unit. Looks good with the wood shelves and good little unit

What's the regular price? Coming up as $576 with automatic price beat at GG.

    • Normally $1099, as per the description but does drop occasionally. it is about $850 on GG commercial.

      • Normally only $795 from Retravision

    • Its normally only about $800 from Retravision and with RAC you can get 5% discount off that.

  • anyone install this as built-in, under benchtop and next to cabinets? It shows it in the marketing pictures, etc, but the manual says at least 5cm clearance on each side. would seem quite misleading. Others like Vintec, F&P (and much more expensive) list clearance of like 5 -10mm.

if anyone has as built - in, any notice of high running temp, unit staying on almost constantly? Thx
