That sure is old. Humanity stopped making 3D TVs in 2016.
Do all those ones you recommended support 4K Blu Rays?
no idea, just link to the shops external blue ray drives.

there are some models that don't officially support 4k, but do actually work if you flash them with different firmware.

the guys on there are very helpful
I would get a LG internal SATA drive, those external ones are usually laptop drives with SATA to USB interfaces, which has less speed and reliability.
