haven't see deals for a while
and the price of a dvd rental is $4 now.

The one at Hornsby (NSW) was replaced a couple of weeks ago. Did a little double take when walking past and went "that machine has shrunk.. wait.. it's not even Red Room anymore.. what?!"
Well Redroom was bought out by FEG (Owner of Video Ezy & Blockbuster) about a year ago. Now Video Ezy is rolling out their own brand of kiosks (Video Ezy Express) so I would assume Redroom is not really of key interest to them at the moment.
In fact I wouldn't be surprised if they got rid of them completely and replace them with Video Ezy branded ones.
