Nice deal if you're pinching pennies but IMO a full aluminum Yoga 15 or 16 is a better experience plastic doesn't cut it for a portable take anywhere device

1 year warranty is abysmal unless you're just looking for a throw out device which I guess you could call it at this price

Yoga often has 3 year warranty and the resale value of a Yoga is also much better

I reckon there'll be run-outs for Yoga's in the not too distant future if you can wait since they aren't selling all that well after the covid-WFH hump

    • I missed the last Yoga deal, which would of been good under $1,500.

    • Thanks for the tips. Looking for a worthy upgrade to a surface laptop 3.

  • where do you buy a student from, is it worth the discount

I'm sure there's a few students who would sell themselves to you.

      • That tuition isn't going to pay itself.

      How Is Babby Formed?

  • Definitely recommend gen 7 16 yoga 7i. Has the best laptop speakers Ive heard, nice build quality, no complaints at all, wait till it go on specials. Laptops tax deductible worth spending that bit extra.

Is there an empty slot to add more ram sticks?

  • Wonder how long it would realistically take to ship

  • Seeing how these weigh 2.1 kg, I went with a 14" model with 16GB for $930.60. While I would have liked the large screen, it's just a bit too heavy. The 14" model comes standard with 1920 x 1200 resolution (300 nits, okay for me), and for $0 you can upgrade to PCIe 4.0 storage of the same size (256GB).
