  • These aren't great unfortunately. Broke down the first year I got them. Mic quality became extremely distorted and my computer stopped recognizing this as a rode microphone.

      And you didn't bother with a warranty claim? Product failures happen…

      • Rode are known to be pretty awesome with their warranty handling, and it is an aussie based company too. Should have done that.

      • Ngl, it was a time of sales and a neat yeti went for pretty cheap. Need my microphone on the daily and can't really have downtime. Warranty in hindsight would've been nice as I would have had a spare mic, but this yeti is really doing great.

  • I still think the RODE MINI is better value and quality everything considered.
    USB type C for the win.

    The rode mini is better value. I have both the mini and the nt usb and can say that they are both great sounding. You can't go wrong on these

  • Wouldn't bother with this until it drops below $130. The market has changed, so it's a different value proposition now.
