Yeah I never noticed much of a difference to be honest, I just grab whatever's cheapest.
Coffee beans though you can definitely tell more of a difference between them.

Pods are for people who like weak tasteless coffee, and don't like the mess of an espresso machine. There are literally 5g of coffee in these pods. A double shot of coffee is about 18g….
Starbucks pods are better and their pods are easier to punch through letting the coffee flows out better. The LOR pods are harder to punch through and always leak water back into the machine.
Depends on machine. My l'or one work just fine. L'or is stronger than nespresso imo

Good price but the quality is very low and rather spend a bit more for something that tastes good, like Starbucks espresso roast.

The best are the Nespresso pods. Also Republica pods are good. Illy too, good Italian coffee. But the all cost more than Starbucks.
You can't buy nespresso at colesworth? or can you? yes they are good, i remember tasting them from the trial pack I got from my coffee pod machine
I buy the 36pack Starbucks from coles for $20, that works out to be 56c per pod
@Homr: Nespresso pods are sold at nespresso stores only as far as I know. But Starbuck's pods are made by Nespresso too so they are the closest thing.
they use plastic pods, plastic pods wreck the machine
Bought a five box pack of these from Aldi. Threw them all out ofter 1 pod. The absolute worst I've ever tried by far. Undrinkable.

Starbucks is the gold standard for me. I try other brand pods when their 10packs are on sale at colesworth but haven't found any as good as the Starbucks range.
yes I agree. LORS are 2nd on my list. I don't have a 3rd because they are all crap like the Victoria brands, please avoid them if you can

I use 3 different pods to make two slightly different flavours after a bit of experimentation. Like a stronger, slightly larger cup of coffee, so will double shot. I try and buy Nespresso pods when there’s a special, and subscribe to Starbucks pods on Amazon to save a couple of bucks there as well.
But coffee mix is either:
1 x Nescafé Arpeggio + 1 x Starbucks Cafe Verona
OR
1 x Nescafé Arpeggio + 1 x Starbucks Sumatra
