The prices for items in an Amazon Subscribe & Save subscription change from time to time, but at what point do they get locked-in ?
For example, today I got an email from Amazon asking me to review my upcoming delivery of Diet Coke 1.25ml bottles.
The email gives an estimated total of $19.12 & says that I have until Sunday Aug 28 to manage this delivery.
Is the $19.12 price now locked-in & I will be charged this amount, even if Amazon's buy-it-now price for the item increases to $30 before Sunday ?
Or, does the price depend on the current price on the day when the order is dispatched ? Meaning, I'll be charged $30 (less 10% subscribe & save discount) if Amazon's buy-it-now price increases to $30 on Saturday or Sunday ?
for something like diet coke I would expect the price to pretty much mirror whoever is cheaper out of colesworths at the time so i guess its relatively safe bet to just let it run if you are definitely smashing that much cola.
but yes its at time of shipping.
if you feel like you got overcharged just use free return function and re-order later.
i dont know of anyone (other than maybe you) that isnt just using s & s for the initial subscription discount and cancelling later.
