And the sliding mechanism loosens up over time, which causes it to collapse inside when trying to plug the drive in unless you hold the slider.
Stills it's very handy having the two connectors in the one device.
I did have to send one back on warranty because it wouldn't lock at all - second one seems to be okay. Certainly seems to be an issue for more than just a couple of people though!
yeah i've read that in the reviews. To be fair in my experience, for transferring a few GBs of movies back and forth between computers the heat is not an issue at all. Particularly helpful if you have a macbook/samsung tablet and just need to move stuff on or off it.
