St Hallett Faith Shiraz 6-Pack - $72 Delivered ($12 Per Bottle) @ Cellar One (Free Membership Required)

690

Popular deal is back. $12 a bottle this time around which appears to be slightly cheaper than last time. Expires at 9:00 pm tonight.

Faith Shiraz is a vibrant and expressive example of Barossa Shiraz. An accessible, juicy and fruit driven wine, Faith's vibrant yet dense purple hue hints at the generosity of fruit within. The bouquet is lifted with bright cherry fruit characters and a hint of chocolate with enticing spice notes. This is followed by dark berry fruits that combine with a lively palate entwined with pepper spices and chocolate tones. A long savoury finish is coated in soft tannins to complete this rich and generous palate.

Free membership is required (use the referral links for 20,000 points on sign up - equivalent to $20).

  • Anyone know how this compares to Pepperjack shiraz?

    • Good, but not as good.

    • +10

      Better.

      • +2

        Yep, I'd definitely say better.

  • Excuse me, but is this the same wine that Liquorland has for $10? https://www.liquorland.com.au/red-wine/st-hallett-faith-375m…

    • +12

      Same wine, bigger bottle

      • +7

        Trap for young OzB players.

    • That's 375ml, normal wine bottles are 750ml

  • +2

Thanks for the info about bottle size. I’ll be buying mine at Cellar One ❤️

Their login page goes around in circle and has no option to sign up to their website.
    Am I doing something wrong?

    • Are you a member?

      • No, but there's no option to signup.

        • +2

          Must use the referral link.

          • @DrRalph: oh right, i previous clicked on "Go to deal", thank you

          • @DrRalph: Ah made the same mistake, cheers!

"use the referral links for 20,000 points on sign up - equivalent to $20" is incorrect. The referral box has the correct situation.

Pretty good price for this wine. Aldi have it on sale this week for $13.99.

I find the referral points come through VERY slowly….

    • Agreed, it's as if they're being manually validated and applied, a little annoying.

As a Qantas pilot I can just drink it for free at work.

    • While working…

So that's why all of my flights have been delayed

Well Alan Joyce is drinking Grange by the case and making excuses…. must be hard to swallow.

    • You're better on the Nova Vita Adelaide Hills Shiraz 2018 - a nice drop in 2D on QF663 BNE-ADL earlier this week :-)

  • Thanks OP, used my 40,000 referral points to get for $32 delivered. Fantastic.

  • Asked for membership, still waiting for my invite

  • Tried to get DM to pricematch but the w@nkers wouldn't budge.

    • +1

Let me give it a crack and report back.

      • +2

Godspeed mate, the moron on live chat told me they "don't price match Ozbargain".

        • +1

The agent wouldn't budge for me either because they didn't want to create an account in order to view the product. Will be spending my beautiful $$$ with Cellar one.

          • +1

@boozler: Useless flogs. Maybe if you can catch a noob employee instore & show them the CO website they'll do a manual price adjustment.

            • @Ham Dragon: I think there's a distance limit to the competitor for in-store purchases. F it.

        • Why mention OzBargain at all? The ask is to price match Cellar One.

          • +1

@elektron: I did, they mentioned it. Must have googled & it came up as the result.

            • @Ham Dragon: This is as ridiculous as it is infuriating.

              • +1

@elektron: Supposedly we are a "coupon site" and they don't match "coupon sites" or members only deals like OneCellar. LOL

    • +2

They don't match member only sites, which Cellar One is.

  • Tried to sign up but it will not accept any attempts in setting a password. Error message each attempt:
"Minimum eight characters, at least one letter, one number and one special character"
Does not matter what combination of letter, number and special character I use

    • I can't even find where I can register as a new member - only a sign-in for existing ones. Is Cellular One invitation only?

      • Use the referral button at the top of this thread

        • Thanks!

    • I got that too, infuriating.
I just created a simple one eg. Abcdef1@, then reset it with a new generated one after my account was created.

    • +1

yeah , had a same problem, its about a SPECIAL CHARACTER, e.g "+" is not accepted, try # or $

      • Many thanks - worked using the $ symbol.

  • I couldn’t find the vintage anywhere on the site. Does anyone know? Depending on the vintage these could be either $13.95 at Dan Murphy or $24.95 each.

PS: what kind of a proper wine site doesn’t call out the vintage??? 🤷

    • Someone selling $15 wine. This is a good price but it's only worth a little more really. Most people at this price point hardly care about the vintage.

  • thanks op, got one

  • How long would it usually take to delivery to Sydney?

I have an event on 3rd Sep so ideally need it by the 2nd.

    • No more than a week I think.

  • If I can get the referral points I'll give this a crack.

  • Thanks OP. Got some, haven't tried this one yet, fingers crossed. Still waiting for the Kellermeister shiraz specials to come around again.

  • Thanks OP. the deal is expired, but I bought https://cellarone.com.au/collections/red-wines/products/reds… instead for $99, not sure if it's a good deal or not :)

    • +3

      Yes, it's a fantastic deal.

    • Yep, I got one of these too - awesome deal!! The white pack had too many similar varieties imo…

      • I don't know much about wine, but I assumed that the quality of 96 points' wine should be as good as Penfolds Bin28.
