The 40GB is only for new customers right?, how do they classify a "new" customer?

    • +1

      Limited to one per person?

    • Where does T&C state "new" customer?

      • New Customers Only
        https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0490/0896/7844/files/deskt…
Look at the $30 40GB plan: = New Customers Only
        https://boost.com.au/pages/prepaid-plans

The CIS only lists 20GB for the $30 sim, so that's all you'll get if you're not a "new customer"
        https://boost.com.au/pages/cis

My question was asking how they class a "new customer", can you just sign up with a different email address and be classed as "new", or do they base it off your ID, or such…

          • @Urbahns2008: more concerned with whether eligible for cashback… 20Gb for $0.50 profit is better in my books…

          • @Urbahns2008: Which seems a little deceptive… (edit: deceptive not mentioning the 40gb is only for new customers)

You'd still get the cash back even if you aren't a "new customer", but you'll only get the 20GB …

            • @FLICKIT: also, can someone confirm (or not) whether it's limited to one simcard purchase per month? i thought that was the case, but can't see in T&C now..

              • @Urbahns2008: I bought one on the 4th of Aug, and another on the 21st, both tracked by cashrewards…

            • @FLICKIT: Always 20+20GB for the 1st recharge, regardless of activation time. The date in the terms is just for offer purpose, like 30 days to activate for cashback.

              • @Neoika: Yes, but the 20+20 is only for new customers.. My initial question was about: what do you have to do to appear as a new customer?, new email address for each activation?, or do they identify you from your address, ID, or such, no one seems to know.. …

                • +1

@FLICKIT: I activated the 2nd number in the same Telstra/Boost ID and got 20+20GB too a month ago. Count by service, not ID.

                  • @Neoika: Thanks… odd, my second activation only got the 20GB, maybe I was outside the 30 day period, hmmm… (this was earlier in the year)

                    • @FLICKIT: The bonus 20GB may take a while to appear. There was a period that the bonus was 17GB.

                      • @Neoika: This was earlier in the year, around April from memory, at the time it was a similar deal to now, 20+20, but I only got the 20, I figured it was because I wasn't a new customer.. It took ages to arrive so I "may" have been outside of the 30 day activation period for the bonus 20gb…

  • This doesn’t boost me anymore!

        • +4

          Sorry days

  • is there any way to ask shopback?

    • No action means NO.

  • +2

Are you guys having this "Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later."?

    • +1

I think there’s a cap or IP blocked by Boost to prevent multiple orders. I ordered two SIMs recently, one on Sat and one just then and I couldn’t order a third one as it gave me the error above (I used the same email, delivery address and first and last name)

    • At least they have exceptional manners

    • Nope. Just got confirmation email 2cmins sgo followed by cashback tracked. Thanks OP.

    • +6

For the 100th time in 3 days: "Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later.". On different computers, different browsers, different IP addresses/ISPs, different names, different emails, different delivery addresses, different credit cards. What's the only thing unchanged? I clicked through Cashrewards. Go figure… Great promo!

And yes, I've bought ONE Boost SIM a month ago through Cashrewards.

      • +1

I hate Boost for that. Clowns

  • Has anyone ported out from Telstra to Boost recently and can share whether this is quick and easy now?

  • +2

ive tried multiple browsers, 2 diff devices, 2 diff postage address' .and 2 diff credit cards, still get the "sorry we are unable to process your order"
    Any idea why ?

  • +2

    I also get error message

  • +2

same error code: sorry we are unable to process your orde

tried on my mobile and mac

  • +1

Anyone got a shipping notice as promised in the order confirmation email? Still nothing yet for me, ordered on 23rd…

    • +1

It used to send a shipping notice, but not now. It skips unnecessary step where possible so that you can imagine whether it checks activation status for cashback or not.

  • 7 calendar days to Perth.

  • finally got the sim.
Tried to activate 3 times, but fails after providing contact details: email + address again (step after ID check)

    Something went wrong
We're unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later.

    • Use the message/live chat option to ask them to activate. I got the same error page from activating 2nd sim and so on. =(
