if you do a search, there was a post with a receipt from the good guys selling them for $600 (wifi model).

Bought my 16GB last week from Dick Smith (Melbourne City) for $498. In & out of the shop with new iPad in 5 mins, no drama. Same price as Big W (out of stock), Kogan $529. You can check Dick Smith stock on their website.
