This is the new 2022 model (SM-P613) of the S6 lite, which now has a Snapdragon 720G instead of an exynos 9611 (as in the SM-P610), and ships with a (passive) S Pen. The chassis and screen is the same as the 2020 model.
This is the highest level tablet I can find that still retains a SD card slot and 3.5mm headphone jack, that also comes with Australian warranty and support and widevine L1 (but might not be whitelisted yet). It ships with Android 12 but it is unknown how many android OS updates this will get - the original S6 should get one more (so Android 13) and an additional one year security after that. If this counts as a 2022 release (which it should because it has its own product number, but I can't seem to have a concrete answer), then this should get four android updates and then an additional one year security after that as all S series tablets should. Having said this, it is almost guarenteed to be have much more software support than any other Android tablet brand on the market.
Hardware wise this is not as good as the Xiaoxin pad plus or the Xiaoxin pad pro, but the tradeoff would be for the local warranty and software support.
Fairly certain this will do netflix in hd. My tab s4 did and there's no reason why this won't.
Tbh. Netflix is just being a dick restricting devices that can very clearly run even up to 4k video and forcing it to only play sd content.
