  • This or the Ender 3 V2 Neo

I have the non Lite version. Highly recommend it, so easy to use for people who are new to 3D printing and don't want to tinker/play around with things. Bought Dec 2020 for $501

  • Was looking at the Adventurer 3 Pro personally… not sure if better to go with Creality or not though..

  • i have an ender 3 v2 and it was annoying with all the upgrading i had to do, i kinda like the full enclosure they go with here and would opt for it if i didint already buy the ender3v2. though neo apparently fixes all those stupid things like manual bed leveling ugh. Ender3 was the goto for beginners given the price(which isnt that cheap unless you use it as it came) but i don't think you should be limited to the "since everyone has one more content out there etc." that i think is more for upgrading the thing.

    • I’ve read your post three times and it makes no sense to me.

      • the Ender 3/v2 has been one of the most bought printers. due to that you have the advantage of having thousands of people tinkering and troubleshooting any issues with the printer. this includes print settings

        • what has this to do with this post?

    • What upgrades did you have to do?

Glass bed was the only upgrade I really needed for mine.

      • V2 comes with a glass bed

      • everything works out of the box for ender3v2, the upgrades were more on the quality of life

the main issue was manual bed leveling for 3v2 (Cr-touch is now pre-installed with the ender 3v2 neo) i assume neo version fixes most of these issues

  • I have an Ender 3 Pro and the Adventurer 3. I personally prefer the Ender. It has a larger build area, isn't as fiddly with its software and, for me at least, is easier to modify. I haven't actually used my Adventurer in ages.

  • Voxelab Aquila anyday….

Even with stock firmware and stock everything this is 100% usable without a flaw. Once the bed is levelled using a a4 sheet of paper it stays like that for months and just do a readjust if you skirts/brim are getting noticeably uneven.

Been using it since got stuck in the australian home jail due to the pandemic. Printed many many stuff both vanity and enclosures for projects but mostly PLA.PLA+. Tried ABS but too much of a hazzle to to get the print to stick to the bed.

Updated to Marlin and then paired with octopi. Very happy with the result so far.

Tried auto bed levelling using bltouch but didn't get the funda and then reinstalled the non-bltouch firmware and left it as it is. Also tried the filament runout/break sensor but didn't find it that essential.

thanks for sharing your experience on Voxelab Aquila. I'll propose to the team to see if there's any possibility to present a special Aquila series sale.
