  • And where is daddy going to use it?

Private property, or QLD, TAS and WA? The world isn't centred around Sydney.

      • What kind of private property? Large backyards? They would be no good on most of the farm tracks I've been on.

        • +1

How long is a piece of string? My private property is 200ha with roads so this would be no issue. Can't say the same about others.

  • I'd personally go for this if you're not too fussed about range.

After 1000km on my xiaomi scooter pro 2, I would really appreciate a good suspension. Unfortunately, scooter with suspension cost a lot

  • So are we now getting G30 Gen2 motor scooters that are official and imported by Panmi in Australia, ie not grey imports?

  • so, what's the difference between the Chinese and Global English versions?

    • -1

Same model but different versions manufactured for sale in different regions (i.e. China/ USA).

What are the differences between the versions? You didn't answer the question.

          Lol

So what's the difference between this G30P and the G30 at JB for $50 more with bonus Segway Seat and Carry Bag?

G30P has Gen 2 motor whereas G30 has Gen 1 motor. Unlike Gen 1 motor, Gen 2 motor has default straight out of the box top speed of 30 km/h and doesn't suffer any speed drop until battery drains to about 10%.

    • +2

Gen 2 can be unlocked to about 37kmh
Gen 1 can be unlocked to about 31kmh
When unlocked they both of course lose top speed as the battery drops, but the gen 2 will stay 30kmh+ until the battery is quite low while the gen 1 would be down to 24/25kmh at the same time.

      Gen 1 has more torque.

JB Hi-fi super easy for warranty, they just replaced the first two I had in store.

      • Warranty is a big consideration, it wouldn't be cheap to ship one of these back to W.A. if there's an issue…

        • +1

Onward and return shipment during warranty claims shall be beared by us. However upon diagnosis if it is adjudged that damage was user induced then both way shipment fees shall be charged back upon customer.

          • +1

@aiecosystem: This part makes it sound like the customer has to pay for shipping it back to you?

The consumer bears the cost of return of product to the purchase point

@FLICKIT: Hereby confirm onward and return shipment fees for warranty claims shall be beared by Ai Ecosystem, unless the fault was a result of normal wear&tear or user induced damage.

          • @aiecosystem: Page not found. Will you be found when a warranty is needed

      • I have a g30p from this same seller which I paid closer to 1200 for. How can I really make it go to 37kmh? It's currently maxed at 32kmh

        • +1

Firmware flash and serial number change: https://max.cfw.sh/

You'll need the tyres pumped up hard to get the absolute most out of it.

There is a little bit of luck of the draw in it though, the second Gen 1 I had only got to 29kmh even with the "magic" serial number. Then of course how heavy you are impacts it too.

I've been waiting forever for the Max G30 to go to $799 at JB Hifi again
